When a meal is first added to the system, Astro-Menu will automatically translate it into the languages you have configured on the translation settings page.
To update a translation or any part of it, you can do so manually from the Translation tab within the meal management page.
If your meal is translated into multiple languages, such as Arabic, French, and Spanish, you will see separate cards for each language. Each card allows you to update the translation for that specific language manually.
Translation Field Options
Each translation field offers three options:
- Reset to Default Value: Reverts the translation to its previous state before any unsaved edits.
- Reset to Original Translation: Restores the original translation initially provided by the system.
- Save: Saves your edited translation.
Important Considerations for Updating Meal Titles or Descriptions
When you update the meal title or description, the system will automatically translate the new content into the selected languages, overwriting any previously edited translations. Keep this in mind to avoid losing manual edits.
